Honeymoon - We stayed at the Sarai for 7 nights for our Honeymoon. On arrival the bed was set up with beautiful flowers which was lovely. The room was nice and we... read more liked the window seat, for the price it was great.
The hotel itself is stunning. We went for the free 30 minute foot massage which was very relaxing and a great addition. The beds by the pool are very comfortable with thick cushions. The location is great away from Pub street but still close enough to walk. We used multiple tuktuks outside the hotel which are mostly a set price €2. We used the hotel tuktuk for the private sunrise temple tour and this was well organised and they provided breakfast. Happy hour us half price drinks 5pm-7pm.
The best part of the hotel is the staff and the level of service. You couldn't go through a door without someone opening it for you. Somaly at the bar provided our drinks and happy hour cocktails , she was very friendly and kept our drinks topped up. Riya on reception helped us organise things before we arrived and was always there to help on reception when we needed. Petter the driver was very helpful and gave us a mini tour on arrival pointing out good places to go and answering all our questions. All of the staff made our trip so special we will never forget.
Other information- laundry is nearby and €1 per kilo. There is a cash machine opposite the hotel to withdraw either dollars or local currency. You need to be careful to keep the dollars pristine or they can be rejected.

A Wonderfull Boutique Hotel - We just came back from our stay at the Sarai for 10 nights while visiting Siem Reap, Angkor Wat, and surroundings.
The Hotel is a nice boutique hotel,... read more where most of the old part of the hotel over looks the POOL over 3 floors, while a new part with more morden furnishing and bigger rooms overlooks the road at front and back of hotel.
The hotel is fairly centrally placed and not far from pub street and a lot of good restaurants etc.
Firstly I would like to thank all the staff and management of the hotel for doing a wonderful job of looking after our family, every member of staff we interacted with were warm, friendly and attentive to our needs and those of the children in our group, There are numerous people i would thank for making our stay wonderfull especially Anna, Riya and Tom who drove us on our trip to Kulen Mountains. The hotel made smooth arrangements for a number of trips and shows for us ( especially Anna) , which all helped in the enjoyment of Siem Reap.
The restaurant staff were always attentive and helpful especially once they knew what our children wanted were there with it as soon as they arrived. The Restaurant breakfast menu was very good with both a selection of sweet and savoury items on it.
We had complimentary massages and we booked further massage using their spa and these were wonderful and so rejuvenating.
If we came back to visit Siem Reap we would stay at the Saria Resort.

High quality hotel that won't disappoint - We got a surprise upgrade from an Emerald Suite to a Terrace Suite upon arrival. The room was absolutely amazing. High quality luxury materials have been used throughout this... read more beautiful hotel. The beds were super comfortable without being soft, we had several choices of pillow. Our room had a double-height ceiling, a bay window with a pool view, a spacious living room, a king size bed, a work desk and a private mezzanine living room with a day bed. All super impressive. The only slight downside (and I'm being really picky here) was the breakfast menu was not as expansive as other hotels we stayed during our Vietnam/Cambodia holiday.
