From embracing eco-friendly practices to partnering on biodiversity and education initiatives, we’re committed to a greener, more mindful future.

Environmental Responsibility

Sarai Resort & Spa produces still and sparkling drinking water for guests and hosts to minimize the carbon footprint that results from the packaging and transport of water it tastes great too! At Earth Lab, our center for environmental education and zero waste, we upcycle and recycle waste materials into new products. This limits our negative impact on the local environment while continuing to increase our operational efficiency.

Plant genetic conservation

As the only private sector company accepted into this Royal Project, the resort lush environment is also our field study to develop a unique plant data collection and as a living ecosystem we can learn from and research with. The project also aims to enhance the development of the country’s agriculture, forestry and economy. We work with RSPG to increase the progressive conscience and knowledge of natural resources conservation, especially among younger generations.

Hornbill conservation

We work to protect hornbills as numbers have sadly dwindled in recent years. Our vegetation bears fruit which is a staple of their diet and we also install artificial nests similar to their natural habitat. This is necessary as natural tree cavities occur in old trees which are vulnerable, and the process is slow and not always optimum for breeding. Our partnership with the Thailand Hornbill Project ensures we’re doing everything we can to help our most iconic wildlife on the island.

Sustainability is the byword for every department in the resort. Our farm-to-table initiative encompasses the Organic Garden, Mushroom Hut, Goat Farm, Chicken Farm and Duck Farm. We produce our own water and engage in natural waste water treatment. We make many products on-site or work with local suppliers to eliminate the use of plastic packaging and the carbon footprint of deliveries. Our creed: Rethink, Responsible, Respect, Refuse, Reuse and Recycle.

Community education, health and wellness

By donating to the English Education Program, we support teachers in five local schools and organize events to expose children to culture and sustainability. As well as engaging with other local schools to assist whenever they need support for any educational development and education infrastructure. And by collaborating with hospital authorities and donating medical equipment, we can also do our bit to make a difference. One of the latest joint efforts is an immunization program aimed at protecting the population and making the island safe from disease.

Clean water projects

Together with Imagine Thailand, Six Senses Yao Noi has provided a clean drinking water system for 35 locations both in cities area and the ones that are further out, that include schools, hospitals, parks, mosques, temples, and police stations. We continue to work closely with Imagine Thailand on locating future installation locations. To date, more than 104 thousand community members have daily access to clean drinking water through those installed filters.

Policy

Booking Confirmation: All reservations must be confirmed with a valid credit card (The card details was for booking secured only). A confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address.

Group Bookings: For group bookings of more than 5 rooms, please contact our reservations team directly.

Standard Rate: Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the check-in date are free of charge. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the check-in date will be charged for the first night’s stay.

Non-Refundable Rate: No refunds are available for cancellations or modifications.

Group Bookings: Group bookings require a 30-day cancellation notice to avoid charges.

Check-In Time: From 2:00 PM.

Check-Out Time: By 12:00 PM.

Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: Subject to availability and may incur additional or free of charges. Please contact the front desk to arrange.

Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and cash payments (KH Riels and US Dollar only).

Deposit: A deposit may be required at the time of booking or upon check-in.

Taxes and Fees: Room rates are subject to applicable taxes and fees.

Children Policy: Children of all ages are welcome. Children under the age of 6 stay free of charge when using existing beds.

Extra Beds: Extra beds and cribs are available upon request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals.

Non-Smoking: Our hotel is a non-smoking property. A cleaning fee will be charged 50.00 USD for violations.

Parking: On-site parking is available for guests.

Personal Information: We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of your reservation and stay.

Behavior: Guests are expected to conduct themselves appropriately and to comply with hotel policies and procedures. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Responsibility: Guests are responsible for any damages or losses caused to the property. Charges will be applied for any damages or missing items.

Emergency Procedures: Please familiarize yourself with the emergency procedures outlined in your room.
Health Guidelines: Follow all health and safety guidelines as provided by the hotel and local authorities.
